Crossroads Christian Academy was founded with the purpose of blending academic rigor with biblical teachings – an approach that equips our children for whatever their future may hold. But private education can be financially taxing on a family, which is why it is our goal to offer a scholarship for every child who attends CCA.
All scholarship applications are treated with paramount discretion and are only seen by the Scholarship Committee.
There are three types of scholarships available, and students are eligible to receive all scholarships simultaneously if they qualify:
- Alyn Scholarship
- In-House Scholarship
- Veteran Scholarship
Alyn is a tax credit program where Georgia state income tax dollars are reallocated to a designated school in the state of Georgia (in this instance, CCA). Georgia residents can redirect funds they would pay to the state and those funds are utilized to provide Alyn Scholarships to CCA families. If you are interested in supporting this program and would like information on how to redirect your state tax obligation, please contact the school office.
To be eligible for the Alyn Scholarship:
- Students must apply before they complete the second grade, and
- Be transferring from a Georgia public school, or
- Have been homeschooled for at least one year, or
- Have previously received an Education Tax Credit scholarship.
Students who are not eligible for Alyn or who request additional financial assistance may also apply for an In-House Scholarship. The application is a simple, one-page form and request tax documentation or verification of adjusted gross income (AGI). Should a family prefer not to disclose full financial information, a student could still be eligible to receive funds.
A Veteran Scholarship is available for students with direct family members (mother, father, sister, brother) who are currently serving or have served in the United States military.
We encourage all families to take advantage of these scholarship opportunities. For more information, please see the front office or speak with CCA administration.
